I've got so much going on and I've had so little free time. My grandmother passed away a couple weeks ago. I got to see her just a couple days earlier in the hospital. I got a new (used) car. It's a 1997 Pontiac Grand AM, automatic transmission. It's in really nice shape and I love it so far. I've only been driving it for a day. I'm looking forward to working on translation projects and my PSX page. It's been so long since I had some time to myself there are a ton of things I want to do. I fucking hated my job this week, it was a bunch of ass. I'm psyched about working on my hobbies a bit and writing and drawing some. I don't want to think about work or anything, I don't even want to sleep but I am exhausted. I've been stressed out and having chest pains and shortness of breath. I don't think it's heart related exactly, it's just stress. This has happened to me before when I get really stressed out, something like a prolonged panic attack. I gotta chill out. I have half watched both Advent Children, and Hostel recently. I need to finish them both up. I'm nearing the end of the Ah! My Goddess TV series season. I intended to watch some on my PSP during my lunch break at work but I was having trouble getting the video on my PSP in such a way that I could watch it. I used PSP Video 9 but I was not having much luck. I'll try it again.

Sleeping back on schedual, translation project updates

This weekend was mostly spent sleeping and playing Oblivion. I am about half way through the main quest. I should be on the last or second to last quest for the mages guild. I finally got a full night of sleep last night. Switching from days to nights back to days is challenging. I couldn't sleep Saturday night until 5am (Sun) and slept most of the day Sunday.

Translations Projects: I'm taking a break on Hexa Space 01 right now but will be picking that back up again to finish at some point. I was able to beat the game and I have a number of save points so I can play test my script. I'm probably about 50% on the work of translating and inserting/play testing on that project. The same block of WtPC I've been working on for quite some time, all but one portion complete. Finishing this will be my priority. Gideon Zhi had indicated that he is still planning to dump the script for 3×3 Eyes: Juuma Houkan so I may have that sometime. Lady Sword is gathering dust but I haven't forgotten about it.

BTW: I forgot to post a link to the PS2 emulator I spoke of on my last post.

Looking for love, family health troubles, PS2 emulator tested

Blogger is being such a whore I can barely make this post. :( I'm currently eating curry rice and preparing to go to work in about 1 hour. I'm working overnights this week helping out on a remodeling project which is sort of a nice change but also exhausting. I'm thinking about making a profile on yahoo personals and I've been checking them out for my area a bit. I've been urged by those who have visited my page for a while to get a girlfriend and I'm thinking it might finally be about time I did. I've been weighing the pros and cons a bit, but I think the pros far outweigh the cons at this point as long as I find the right kind of girl. Being unhappy and lonely is starting to lose it's appeal. :P

Some generally bad shit has been going down, mostly my two grandmothers are both in the hospital. One had a heart attack 2 days ago but is doing ok for now. The other has cancer and is not expected to make it much longer. I have visited them both recently. It's difficult to endure but I love them both and I pray for their continued health.

Some good news however, a PS2 emulator is making great strides. I downloaded the most recent build and gave it a shot with the few PS2 games I own. The emulator is still in the very early stages and most games do not work, no sound, are slow, etc. but it's exciting progress non the less. I got Monster Rancher 3 working as far as I went into the game which was only to the game intro since it ran so slowly on my machine. 2 frames a second in the main game. :P Still, the code may get tweaked a bit for speed later on, and I don't necessarily expect to be able to emulate PS2 on my current system. It just cool to see it running and think about the future.
